MEMA continues to work with federal and local partners to help survivors of the March 14-15 storms and tornadoes with their recovery.
As of June 24, FEMA has given out more than $13.3 million in individual assistance to the 6,084 residents who have applied for federal aid. Affected households have also received more than $8.2 million in housing assistance.
Although FEMA has closed several centers, The Jefferson Davis County Disaster Recovery Center remains open to serve those in need.
