JDCSD on lockdown after threat

All schools in the Jefferson Davis County School District are currently on lockdown after a threat was posted to social media. “Y’all better not send yall kids I’m doing a school shoot out at jdc elementary” was posted this morning on social media under the account name unkno_wn13658. “We are going to do and will continue to do every thing in our power to keep the students and staff safe in Jefferson Davis County, said JDC Superintendent Ike Haynes.
